Each year, Del Norte High School hosts the Military Appreciation Night near the anniversary of 9/11.  Our community, as well as that of the visiting team, come together to pay tribute to our Military Service Members as well as First Responders, both past and present.  Veterans, Active Duty, and First Responders are honored during the pre-game meal and opening ceremony, and a commemorative game Jersey bearing the honoree's name is worn during the game.*  This event always proves to be one of the largest and most exciting events during the season.
